This eighth installment in the Quarantine Ambient series is a two-part composition. You'll know the transition when you hear it.
This piece was performed almost entirely on a Fender Telecaster, with a few flourishes from a piano and a dodgy Casio keyboard, between sessions for the new SW album.
It was recorded in the dog days of a hot, dry August in central Texas, while waiting for the heat to break and the waves of fall thunderstorms to finally begin. The entire country seems to be holding its breath.
Suitable for stargazing, deep breathing, quiet joy or sorrow.
Any living thing is better than the internet.

absolutely love this record. shearwater having been a favorite of mine as I love stellar production and this seems like a natural extension of that sub-sub genre. Dr. J.M. McNulty
