about

A dark, tranquil, album-length instrumental. Perfect for studying, sleeping, thinking, or meditating.

-------

Why not spend 45 minutes in the deep, dark seas of Jupiter's ice-bound moon Europa, one of the places alien life is most likely to exist in our solar system?

As with the deep seas here on Earth, the sound of this world is mostly a deep, gently undulating drone. But if you listen carefully, you can hear a tiny, translucent, vaguely crab-like animal snuffling around on the seafloor— and a few visits from a curious underwater probe.

Since the sounds of this piece lie mostly in the lower ranges of human hearing, we suggest listening on headphones or a stereo with good bass response.

This piece was commissioned and titled by a friend of the band, who very kindly allowed us to make it public.
